Hot rolled steel is steel that has been heated above its recrystallization point, usually in excess of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and is pushed between two rollers to meet a certain length and thickness. This process allows for the steel to be more ductile and flexible than other alloys and has the ability to be formed into many more shapes than cold rolled steel, as the heat improves the alloys ductility. Hot Rolled Steel is most often used in automobiles, construction, agricultural equipment and machinery as the steel’s malleability and lower cost lends itself best to mass applications.

NMC has successfully worked with many industry leaders and provided the highest quality steel available, making our various capabilities and products available for all industries across the world.
